PAX Global Technology Limited (HKSE stock code: 00327.HK), a leading provider of electronic payment terminal solutions, has obtained Common.SECC certification for multiple PAX terminal models, positioning the company for further growth in the United Kingdom.
UK Finance, the trade association for the UK’s banking and financial services sector, has granted Common.SECC approval for PAX’s A920 Android terminal, the Q30 multilane PINpad and the E-Series range of new generation Android EPOS systems with their integrated Q20 hybrid contactless card reader with PIN-on-Glass functionality. The certification is based on a Common Criteria evaluation, and means that UK based payment service providers and acquiring organizations can now benefit from using the payment industry’s most innovative terminal device.
“The A920, Q30, E500, E600 and E700 already have PCI 5.x certification, so this additional certification demonstrates PAX’s strong commitment to the UK market and that our solutions always meet the highest industry security and compliance standards.” - Norman Roberts-York, responsible for the UK & Northern Europe region
Mark O’Flynn, VP Sales for PAX, is also thrilled about the certifications: “This is testimony to the fact that PAX will continue to expand its global reach, providing merchants with modern, seamless and secure payment solutions.”
