PAX Technology, the world’s leading manufacturer of point-of-sale devices has today announced a partnership with the European-based ISO, UTP Merchant Services (UTP) to offer PAX’s Android payment devices with the UTP EPOS and payments solution to retailers in Europe.

Through the partnership, UTP merchants will now benefit from one solution to streamline payments and reporting.

The A920 like all devices in the PAX A-Series range is a modern and intuitive Android-based device that supports card, mobile and contactless payments. The large HD colour touchscreen helps to elevate the payment experience for the customer. It is also the first card terminal to be designed with the needs of visually impaired users in mind, with a specific accessibility mode that will allow those with visibility issues to pay with ease.

“PAX is excited to become a key partner for UTP for their payment terminal business, said Norman Roberts-York, Managing Director for PAX UK and Northern Europe. There is a huge market demand for Android payment solutions, and we are excited to be working with UTP to unlock the possibilities.
