French payment app upgraded for compatibility with extended lineup of PAX Android SmartPOS terminals

PAX Technology, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of point-of-sale terminal solutions, is pleased to announce that PAX France has extended its standalone payment application to be compatible with a wider range of Android terminal models.

Approval from GIE-CB (Groupement des Cartes Bancaires) for the standalone FRv6 contact & contactless payment application version FRv6.2.1 has been widened to include the latest PAX Android SmartPOS devices:

PAX France also obtained all EMV Level 3 certifications for contact & contactless payment schemes integrated by FrenchSys, including:

Furthermore, the standalone PAX FRv6 application offers the option of paying with the CPACE contactless core, dedicated to contactless payment in France.
