Taste of Athens brought together the best restaurants, food and drink brands in Greece, providing visitors with experiences such as cooking lessons by world-class chefs, wine tastings and cocktail preparation classes.
During the four days festival, all orders and payments were managed through Cardlink’s innovative order placing application, Maitre, and payment platform Cardlink POSsible, leveraging PAX Technology's innovative terminal solutions and open ecosystem to deliver a seamless ordering and paying experience.
Cardlink, which manages a large estate of 250,000 POS terminals and 10,000 e-Commerce outlets, is on a mission to provide innovative solutions that help enhance the experience of merchants and consumers alike. Cardlink identified PAX Technology’s Android POS terminals and PAXSTORE as best-in-class solutions, working in close cooperation with Transaction Systems (PAX’s key channel partner for Central and South-eastern Europe) and local Greek payment system integrator Novidea to launch the first Android SmartPOS payment application in Greece.
